The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan is located at Jalan Ah Cheong which is the the centre of Teluk Intan. It is also a famous local landmark and was listed as a national cultural heritage in 2015.

(The history of Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan in two languages)

The tower was built in 1885 by Leong Choon Cheong, a businessman and architect from southern China. It has a history of 139 years. The tower is 25.9 meters high and has a total of three floors. In the tower, there are 110 stairs and nearly 6 feet wide corridors.

(Leaning Tower Teluk Intan in past era)

In the past, the Leaning Tower of Anshun was originally a reservoir for the use of Anshun urban residents. However, from 1889 to 1995, it was eroded by the flooding of the Perak River all year round, causing the soil to loosen. As a result, the tower tilted to one side and became a leaning tower. Then, it has become one of the most popular attractions for tourists!

If you want to take beautiful photos, don’t miss the Leaning Tower of Anshun at night! At night, the leaning tower turns on with LED lights, there will be shining and bling like the stars 🤩🤩🤩
