Hello friends! Today, I want to introduce you to Lenggong’s delicacies from Northern Perak - Chat Sook Restaurant! If you‘re visiting Lenggong, you definitely shouldn’t miss it!
(The restaurant seems like a random Chinese restaurant, but it sells the best fish cuisine in the town)
Chat Sook Restaurant has been in business for 15 years, it is suitable when you‘re going with family to order dishes or dining alone, and is one of the most popular eateries in the area.
(If you have no idea what to order, why not follow our suggestion?)
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. If you’re ordering, the boss lady recommends steamed fish (especially the recommended fresh steamed catfish, aka Pak Sou Gong , the fish of the day), a vegetable dish, and the boss's own creation of double tofu slices with Thai sweet and sour sauce.
(Steamed catfish, in Chinese culture called Pak Sou Gong, which means white beard fish)
(Exclusive in Lenggong! Sweet and sour tofu)
And you must try the super chewy homemade Saito fishballs (completely handmade fish paste by the boss, and she will remind you to eat them while they’re hot!)
(Feel the hot and springy handmade fishball bounce in your mouth!)
As for prices, they are quite reasonable, with the steamed fish priced at RM50.40 for 800+g!
So, when you come to Lenggong, why not come and try it out!
💡✨ Also, here‘s a little reminder from us: the weather has been extremely hot recently, so when you are visiting Lenggong for sightseeing can bring portable fans, parasols, and remember to drink plenty of water!!!
